1. Data controller

LearnWithDevOpsEngineer is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@learnwithdevopsengineer.com.

2. Information you provide

When you contact us by email, you may provide your name, email address, company information, job title, project requirements, technical documentation and any other information you choose to include.

We use this information to:

  • respond to your inquiry;
  • understand your technical requirements;
  • evaluate or prepare a potential consulting engagement;
  • deliver requested services and maintain relevant business correspondence.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and, where applicable, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Please do not send passwords, access tokens, private keys or highly sensitive data by ordinary email.

3. Website hosting and technical data

The website is hosted using Cloudflare services. When you visit the website, Cloudflare and related infrastructure providers may process limited technical data required to deliver and protect the website, such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, access time and security or diagnostic data.

This processing supports website delivery, performance, abuse prevention and security.

4. YouTube embedded content

Some pages include YouTube videos using YouTube's privacy-enhanced embedding domain where technically available. If you play or interact with an embedded video, YouTube or Google may process information under their own privacy terms.

5. External websites

The website links to third-party services including GitHub, YouTube, Beehiiv and other technical resources. When you follow an external link, the relevant third party processes information under its own privacy policy. We do not control those external websites.

Newsletter registration takes place directly on Beehiiv and subscription data is not collected through this website.

6. Cookies and analytics

We do not intentionally use advertising cookies, behavioural profiling or personalised advertising on this website. Hosting infrastructure or embedded third-party content may use technically necessary storage or process connection information as part of providing their services.

This policy will be updated before adding analytics, advertising technology or other tracking tools.

7. Sharing personal data

We do not sell or rent personal data.

Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary to:

  • operate and secure the website and business email;
  • obtain legal, accounting or technical assistance;
  • comply with applicable law or lawful requests;
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

8. International processing

Some service providers, including Cloudflare, Google, YouTube and GitHub, may process information outside Poland or the European Economic Area. Those providers are responsible for applying appropriate transfer mechanisms and safeguards under their applicable privacy and contractual terms.

9. Data retention

Email inquiries are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, assess or manage a potential engagement, maintain appropriate business records, meet legal or contractual obligations, or establish and defend legal claims.

Information connected to an active or completed engagement may be retained for the period required by applicable legal, accounting and contractual requirements.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable data-protection law, you may have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request deletion or restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive certain information in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority. In Poland, this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

11. Automated decisions and children

We do not use personal data collected through this website for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. The website and consulting services are intended for professionals and organisations and are not directed at children.

12. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. However, no website or email transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

13. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the website, services or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
